Auskick Co-ordinator required for Mitcham Primary School

Auskick is a great way for students aged 5-8 to participate in a fun, safe, educational and healthy footy environment. The Auskick program cannot exist without its amazing volunteers who assist which enable these programs to continue to grow and prosper.

Each year we engage with Auskick Coordinators to make the offerings possible for our children.

The role will require you to coordinate a weekly 45-60-minute training session. The session is based at the school and the time and day can be worked around your availability in partnership with the school (2019 was Friday’s 3:30-4:30pm).

Together with the information and tools you will receive from the Auskick team, you will be a part of an exciting and fun environment. It is a great way for those that are interested in developing skills in leadership, sports administration and entering into the football community.

You will not be thrown in the deep end. If it’s your first-time coaching, SANFL will ensure you are prepared and will be in attendance for the first session. You will not only benefit from gaining skills, knowledge and values necessary to assist you to effectively run the Auskick sessions, you’ll also develop a more positive attitude towards coaching that we hope will inspire you to progress to the next step in AFL coaching accreditation.

You will attend an In-Service Night with date, time and location TBC. On this night you will receive training, equipment, merchandise, giveaways, season passes and everything you need to make Auskick a success.
