Enrolment Expression of Interest

Mitcham Primary School is a popular choice of primary school for local families and we receive many enrolment enquiries from across Adelaide. Due to the demand for places at our school, and in accordance with our agreements with other local schools, parents are asked to complete a Registration of Interest Form.

Please complete the details on this form to register your interest to enrol your child at Mitcham Primary School. This form is not a confirmation of enrolment. Information provided on this form is not saved on this website and is emailed to our enrolment team for consideration. If a place is available, you will be notified of an enrolment offer prior to your child’s anticipated starting date. At this time, you will be given an enrolment form to complete.

Please note: From 2024, Department for Education schools offer two starting dates for Reception children – the beginning of Term 1 and the beginning of Term 3.

If your child turns five years old before 1st May, they will start Reception on the first day of Term 1 that year. Students who enrol in the Term 1 intake will complete 4 terms of Reception.

From 2024, if your child turns five between 1st May and 31st October, they can start school in either Term 3 of the same year OR Term 1 of the following year. Students who enrol in the Term 3 intake will complete 6 terms of Reception.
