Mitcham Primary School participates in chess each term of the school year.
Girls and boys from Years 2 to 6 may participate.

Parent volunteers are very welcome to assist with supervision.
Team sizes and players
Only 24 students can participate in chess due to supervision and room size requirements. Registrations will be received in order of receipt to determine the 24 students.
Chess day and time
Thursday, 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm
Chess tournaments
Chess tournaments may occur in Terms 1 and 4. Excursion notes will be given to all students along with payment details.

Registration and fee payment
Chess fee is $45.00 per term.
If your child is unwell and cannot participate in chess at any time, please contact the Sports Coordinator as soon as possible and notify the chess teacher.
