Coaches & Team Managers

Each team requires a coach and a team manager, and they must provide a referee for home matches. These roles are usually filled by parent volunteers. Please consider volunteering; no experience is necessary, and the SDJSA offers free training for coaches and referees.

Teams without a coach, team manager or referee will not be able to participate.

Subject to availability, a coach may be outsourced, incurring an additional fee of $15 per training session and $10 per game.

Match Days & Times

Matches are played as part of the SDJSA non-competitive league, with modified rules and no ladder system. Games are held on Saturday mornings from mid-May to early September, with a carnival event held for each age group during the season. Matches last 40 to 50 minutes depending on the age group, and fixtures are released the week of the first match. There are no games during school holidays.
