Mitcham Primary School participates in Terms 2 and 3 for the winter basketball season.
Teams are made up predominantly by year level but depending on numbers, some mixed year level teams may occur. Girls and boys from Year 2–6 may play.

COACHES & TEAM MANAGERS
Note: Each team requires a coach, team manager, and a scorer, usually a volunteer parent. Please consider volunteering for one of these positions. If a team does not have a coach or team manager, that team will not be able to participate in the basketball season.
Subject to availability, a coach may be outsourced. If this occurs, an additional coach's fee will be payable at the end of the term: $15 for each coached session and $10 for each game on the weekend.
TEAM SIZES & PLAYERS
Please ensure that all forms are returned prior to the due date. This not only helps ensure your child has a place on a team but also allows the coordinator to ensure team sizes are not too large, providing more game time for your child. Placement preferences will not be considered as this is a great way to learn invaluable teamwork skills and meet new people.

EQUIPMENT
Equipment is provided by Mitcham Primary School.
UNIFORM
Basketball top (supplied by the school), navy blue shorts (with no pockets), and sports shoes.
REGISTRATION AND FEE PAYMENT
$170.00 ($8.50 a week) for Terms 2 and 3 combined. (This includes a registration fee, game fee per person (x20 games), hire of a uniform top, equipment, and an end-of-year trophy.
