Learning Support and Wellbeing

At Mitcham Primary School we are committed to meeting the learning, social and wellbeing needs of all our students. We provide a welcoming, safe educational environment where students, staff and the community feel valued and supported.

We are committed to supporting all students to reach their full potential and cater to the individual needs of students within the class teaching and learning program.

At Mitcham we work with families to support student wellbeing by providing a range of programs and strategies to help students develop self-regulation, motivation, respect, confidence, cooperation, resilience, respect and social skills.

Intervention programs including MultiLit, TooSmart & QuickSmart are used to support identified students with specific learning needs.
